Wallace & Gromit: The Big Fix Up

Wallace and Gromit are soon to find themselves in a spot of trouble, and they’re going to be calling on the help of the public to get them out of it

International superstars Wallace and Gromit break free from the screen to arrive in homes this autumn in their first Augmented Reality adventure.

The Big Fix Up, a collaboration between computer games start-up company, Fictioneers, and Wallace and Gromit producer Aardman Animations invites users to join Wallace and Gromit’s new service company, Spic and Spanners.

Starting early Autumn 2020, and running up to Christmas, the Big Fix Up invites families across the UK to take control of an adventure that can be played in their homes and gardens before inviting them to location-based events with other players once these become feasible.

Combining the latest in augmented and mixed reality, Wallace & Gromit: The Big Fix Up, is an all-new epic adventure where users will be able to experience and interact with the story as it unfolds over time. Over a number of weeks, from Autumn 2020, the adventure ensues for Wallace and his “employees”, alongside a new cast of characters voiced by an all-star lineup. The app will be available throughout the UK with the opportunity to participate in a live, collaborative augmented reality finale.
