LIME – Live Immersive Music Experiences
Aim
LIME is a feasibility study to research how live immersive performances can be viewed, distributed and improved, particularly when viewed remotely. The project analysed audience responses in order to produce concise recommendations for future development of full-scale commercial products and services.

Target Audience
Anyone wishing to attend a live event remotely. The recent pandemic has made this technology even more relevant and appealing to audiences around the world.
Outcome
Mativision found that audiences are willing to engage and be captivated by immersive experiences, but immersive content must be well-designed, allowing them to adapt gradually to something which is still so new and unfamiliar. Mativision have been publicising their research through articles, white papers, conferences and events such as the Media Technology and Production Show and select workshops such as at Digital Catapult.
