Speaker Biography
Dani Parr was the Creative Director of Lost Origin. As part of the Audience of the Future project that included the creation of Lost Origin, Dani also directed dinosaurs and robots themed mixed-reality experiences for museums and shopping centres and directed the audio on two augmented reality mobile apps for younger children.
Dani is Director of Participation at Almeida Theatre in London where she is currently creative director on The Keyworker Cycle and leads all of the participation projects. Dani adapted and directed two Michael Morpurgo books, including ‘I Believe in Unicorns’ with the production winning an Argus Angel award at Brighton Festival. She won two awards for her immersive show Flathampton at Brighton Festival.
Dani has also been Associate Director for Royal and Derngate Theatres in Northampton and Associate Director for Pentabus Theatre Company; and was a Senior Lecturer for the BA Acting course at Northampton University.
